Florida with the greatest number of family orientated attractions in the world, is a magnet for people of all ages and welcomes people from all four corners of the globe. Although located in a quiet estate, the villa is ideally located for access to all of Orlando’s attractions, with the Disney main gate less than 10 minutes away.
The natural beauty of Orlando is sometimes overlooked in place of the man made attractions, and although the face of the Orlando landscape has changed dramatically over recent years, the original wetlands, lakes and wildlife are still close at hand. Only several miles North of the villa is Lake Louise which offers easy walking routes, and the chance to see some of Orlando’s native animals and birds at close hand.

Several miles further North is Clermont, a small town surrounded by a large lake and again home to many of Orlando’s natural wildlife.

The East coast of Florida is where you will find Cocoa and Daytona beaches, which offer endless miles of sandy beaches with some of the best surf available in the state of Florida. On the other coast, the beaches are even more attractive and with some of the most attractive coastal towns and resorts in the area. Only several hours drive South, the Florida wetlands provides the opportunity to see the Florida of old, with miles upon miles of unspoilt scenery and the opportunity to see native wildlife in their home environment. Guided tours across these wetlands are available, making this an ideal opportunity to see Florida wildlife in their home environment.

At the bottom end of Florida is the world renowned Florida Keys, again showing the natural beauty of Florida and only a few short hours drive away.

Magic Kingdom is home to seven magical themed lands, over 40 varied attractions, lively entertainment, shows, and most importantly, Disney characters. Magic Kingdom provides fun and fantasy for both the young and the young at heart.

Enjoy a day at the movies at Disney MGM Studios, marvel at the death defying stunts at the Indiana Jones stunt spectacular. Encounter a terrifying fall of 13 stories in the Twilight Zone of Terror and then sit back and enjoy the latest live stage shows.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom offers whether real, imaginary or extinct, the animals who

rule this domain. From a safari or archaeological dig to a thrill ride that takes you to the edge of extinction, you will marvel as the stories of all animals unfold before your eyes.

 
Blizzard Beach

Disney offers three great water theme parks,

  • Blizzard Beach
  • Typhoon Lagoon and
  • River Country,

    all of which provide great water fun in very different surroundings.

Experience the world’s tallest and fastest freefall speed slide on a 90 foot ‘snow capped mountain’, in the midst of a Florida style water park, at the ‘snow and ice’ covered Blizzard Beach.

Relax in the whole hearted good time atmosphere of water slides, sandy beaches and nature trails at the All-American River Country.

Typhoon Lagoon

Escape to the wettest, wackiest attractions in paradise at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and either navigate exiting water slides or swim with real sharks.

With more than 40 incredible rides, shows, movie sets and attractions, Universal Studios is the number one movie studio in the world. With ‘Men In Black’ and ‘Alien Attack’, it’s the only place on earth that you can ride the movies.

Explore the new state of the art Universal’s Islands of Adventure theme park with it’s five exciting islands. Suess Landing, the Lost Continent, Duelling Dragons, Jurassic Park, Toon Lagoon, Marvel Super Hero Island and the Incredible Hulk Coaster all provide the un-real movie experience of a life time.

Sea World

Polar bears at SeaWorld. Challenge ‘Kracken’ Orlando’s only floorless coaster and just try and stay dry when the world famous Shamu comes a splashing. Swim with dolphins at Discovery Cove, an experience of a lifetime for all ages.

Wet ‘n Wild on International Drive offers the best variety of multi-passenger thrill rides like the ‘Fuji Flyer. Tampa Bay features an unparalleled combination of world class thrill rides and scenic animal habitats at Busch Gardens. Challenge the incredible heights and speeds of Gwazi and Motu, then relax and enjoy the spectacular entertainment of highly acclaimed shows.

If it sport that interests you, Orlando has it all. The Orlando Magic, one of the major basketball teams in the USA plays all it’s home games at the impressive TG Waterhouse Centre, where the Ice Hockey team Orlando Solar Bears also strut their stuff. Disney’s Wide World of Sport features American Football, BaseBall and many other sports, including many touring world famous teams. The rough and tumble of the big time American Football team the Tampa Bay Buccaneers can be seen in Tampa. College Basket Ball and American Football is played to a very high standard and is certainly worth a visit, especially if you can hold of tickets for these clashes between neighbouring colleges.
